Everyone has a lot of ideas for what Detroit could be. As mayor, I would want to hear them all through a series of community meetings and online and mail input from the community, as well as ALL THE TIME because that is what should guide an elected official.
I have some ideas myself I would like to share. I know that there is so much wrong, that crime, education, basic public transport, streetlights and city finances are at the top of the list, but there is so much we could do working together. Some of these pictures are for the long term and some are to solve problems right now.
